Easy Ways to Donate to Broadmoor while Shopping this Holiday Season!

We want to not only thank everyone for their continued support throughout the year but also remind you of easy ways to stretch those dollars we all are spending this holiday season. Whether it’s on gifts or special meal grocery shopping, you can donate to your school’s PTO at the same time, all from things you are already buying. Here are a few easy ways…

Amazon Smile – Log in and select Broadmoor Elementary Parent Teacher Organization/Lafayette LA as your charity. Amazon Smile offers the SAME shipping options, prices and everything else as Amazon.com, just be sure to switch your browser before you start shopping and check out on the smile.amazon site. Your existing amazon.com account and prime will remain the same.

Shoparoo – Download the shoparoo app on your phone, select Broadmoor Elementary as your charity and snap pics of your receipts – THAT’S it! Receipts can be from almost ANYWHERE.

Super1Foods – Present the “Cash for My Class” tags to scan during transactions each time you shop at Super 1 Foods. Super 1 Foods will donate 1% of the purchase of qualifying products to Broadmoor Elementary!

Community Coffee – Collect proof of purchase product UPCs, return them to school c/o librarian. Once we submit all our UPCs, Community Coffee Company will issue us a check.

BoxTops –  Simply look for Box Tops on many products, clip them, paste or tape onto sheets, and return to our school, c/o our librarian.

Coca-Cola Give – you can support Broadmoor Elementary by donating your codes. Broadmoor will be able to use donated funds for extra-curricular activities including sports, technology, art and/or school supplies within our school. Submit codes online or send to school, c/o librarian.

Tyson Project A+ – Just clip and collect Tyson Project A+ labels from participating Tyson® product packages and send them to the school library with your child. We’ll collect the labels and send them to Tyson Foods, and Tyson Foods will send Broadmoor a check. Each label is worth 24¢!

Repurpose Old Marker!

Don’t throw out old markers – Repurpose/ColorCycle them!

Crayola ColorCycle – an amazing program devised to turn used markers into energy! Crayola and schools across North America are banding together to help kids understand the importance of their role in protecting the environment.

All around Broadmoor students and teachers will be collecting used markers that are ready to be discarded. the markers will be sent to a facility where they will be converted into clean fuel. This fuel can be used to power vehicles, heat homes, cook meals and more!

Please help the initiative by sending with your kids any used highlighters, dry erase markers, or regular markers you may have around the house – even non-Crayola brands.

DROP OFF BOX will be located outside the Science LAB (Room A-10).

Thank you in advance for participating! With the help of parents like you across the country, the Crayola ColorCycle program can keep tons of plastic out of landfills each year.
