14264936_638324816327632_97316740621591074_nThe CONFETTI EGGS collection competition has officially started!

Fall Carnival has bee a Broadmoor tradition for over 40 years and our confetti egg booth is on of our most popular booths. Please help by collecting empty eggshells from everyone you know. The more eggshells donated equals more fun times for the kids at Carnival.
The empty egss will be stuffed with confetti and sold at Carnival. The classroom that collects the most eggs will get a reward!!!

It’s so very simple!

  1. Tap the top of the egg  and break off a small section about the size of a quarter, to get the egg out.
  2. Once you have emptied your egg, rinse it out with warm soapy water.
  3. Allow it to dry completely. When it is dry, put the shells back in the carton. (wet shells stick to the egg carton)
  4. Once you have a complete dozen or more, send it to school labeled with your student’s name, teacher’s name and grade.

Confetti Egg Contest: There are 2 ways to win!

  • Class Prizes: Each class collecting the most eggs from each grade (K-5th) will be entered into a drawing for a pizza party. The remaining classes per grade will win a popcorn party. Only one class per grade has a chance to win these parties.
  • Individual Prizes: All students from the top collecting class (per grade) will be put in a drawing to win 10 carnival tickets. Only one student from each grade has a chance to win these tickets.

Each week there will be an announcement about the class that is in the lead! Also, check out your class’ confetti egg stats on the posters next to the bulletin board in the front hallway.

Please drop off your empty shells (in the egg cartons) in the boxes provided by the front office. Make sure to put your child’s name, the teacher’s name and the grade on the carton so that we can accurately enter everyone into the contest. Thank you in advance for supporting Broadmoor Elementary School and its students!
