Officer responsibilities

President- The president shall preside over meets and serve as primary contact for the principal, represent the organization at meetings outside of school, serve as member of all committees, and coordinate the work of all the officers and committees so the purpose of the organization is served.

Secretary- the secretary shall keep all records of the organization, take and record minutes, prepare the agenda, handle correspondence, and send noticed of meetings to the membership. Te secretary also keeps a copy if all the minutes, bylaws, rules, membership list, and other necessary supplies and brings them to the meetings.

Treasurer- the treasurer shall receive all funds of the organization, keep an accurate record of receipts and expidentures, and pay out funds in accordance with he approval of the executive board. He or she will provide a financial statement at every meeting or when requested by the executive board and make a full report at the end of the year.

Membership committee- is responsible for coordinating membership to the organization throughout the year.  This involves collecting money, circulating forms, and distributing membership level gifts.

Directory committee- is responsible for organizing and printing the student directory. The directory committee also collects all funds related to purchasing, making, and distributing the directory.

Carnival Committee- is responsible for coordinating and collaborating our fall carnival. This includes coordinating bingo, business donations,  carnival booths, and all activities related to the fall carnival.

Raffle committee- is responsible for coordinating the fall raffle associated with the fall carnival. the Raffle committee collects the money for raffle, coordinates printing raffle tickets and bookkeeping all funds associated with the raffle.

Publicity- is responsible for publicizing the organization and Broadmoor Elementary.

Health and Safety- is responsible for coordinating volunteers for hearing and vision screening.

Just Say No- is usually a 3rd or 4th grade parent. They are responsible for red ribbon week and all other activities related to Just Say NO

Hospitality- is responsible for 9 week treats for teachers as well as teacher appreciation week and the teacher luncheon

Awards- is responsible for 9 week awards for students

Yearbook- coordinates the yearbook layout, school pictures, collects money for yearbook, and coordinates distribution of the yearbook.

Newsletter/Calendar- is responsible for collecting information for and publishing the monthly newsletter

Sunshine- is responsible for sending birthday/new baby/condolence  cards and gifts for teachers and staff

Fundraising Committee- coordinates all fundraisers throughout the year. This includes developing fundraiser, coordinating fundraiser,collecting money and reconciling fundraisers
